Right Out of a Storybook

Look at these darling photos that I received yesterday. This is Evie one of my little friends and the best one year old model I could ever dream of!! I think her mom might have a new career as a photographer!!

By the way, the jumpers can be seen here

A Quote on Eating

The season of Lent is fast upon us. A time of giving up something for 40 days until Easter. Some kind of food is usually first on people's minds. Anyway, I saw this quote at a local eatery called Hubble and Hudson. Thought you might enjoy it as well.

New Jumpers with Apron

The new jumpers are ready!! You can find them here. They come in S(2/3),M(4/5),L (6,6x)and are on my Etsy site so far.

I had some of my favorite friends model them! They come in lots of colors and fabrics.

My House

The past couple weeks have been crazy doing projects and being out of town and working on my house. So...I have lots to post...
This is my kitchen which is always a little crazy. My family teases me saying if they weren't around I would probably have everything in children's sizes and every room would look like a children's book.

The blue and red tiles on the backsplash are not up there permanently! They are only there until I really tile the backsplash which I hope will be soon!!

I made the bunnies out of clay pressed into a butter mold. I have used these same bunnies to make knobs.

 Bunny Knobs

There is a fireplace in the kitchen. And an English sheepdog named Daphne.

The kitchen looks out on a screened in porch.

 Another "portable" backsplash.

 Butler's pantry

My chicken coop with no chickens at all.

But lots of sheep and bunnies.

Fun at Gallery Show

I had so much fun at the gallery show that I forgot to take pictures!! But my sweet friend Cindy Taylor posted this on Facebook. This is my adorable little friend Lily Taylor. She also looks cute as a button!!

The Cutest Portable Playhouses

There is something in my opinion that is unique about toys made in the UK and in Europe. In a crowd I can always spot them. When I was in NY at the NY Gift Show, I would know immediately if I fell in love with something it was always from Europe.
So I want you to see a cute website with the cutest playhouses.  One of my customers brought one of these to my studio for me to use as inspiration for a piece she commissioned me to do for her.

They are from the UK. It's a cute website with flash. Click here.

A Grandfather's Gift

A very sweet grandfather recently asked me to create some baby gifts for two new little grandchildren of his. One for for his new granddaughter and one for his new grandson.

Child's Table and chairs

It's been a while since I have done a child's table and chair set, but I did one in December for some precious twin girls. The top of the table is metal that I handpainted.
