A Year Ago

A year ago my dear friend Mary's son got married in a small ceremony and so the wedding party came later. Here are the fans we created for the outdoor evening. They were mounted on fan paddles. We also strung just the cards like bunting all over the beautiful backyard. I wish i had pictures but you can imagine it.

There is a fun website called Spoonflower where they sell fabric and have contests to design fabrics. Right now there is a "Folk Tale" fabric contest.
This is the fabric I entered called "Gretel".

I am grateful that it is so easy to get fabric these days!!

A Review of the Books

Ahh the books.... As I am in the process of finally finding a distributor so that some of the larger bookstores will carry them. It is good to think they are still so very relevant in the world of children.
