The Loveliest of Surprises

The other day I had the grandest surprise. A lovely birthday tea in my honor!! It was pink and pretty and so much fun!! The menu was pink cupcakes,pink lemonade,scones cut out in the shape of flowers along with clotted creme and lemon curd. All extremely delicious and too much fun!! Thank you Cindy and Lily!! It all took place in Lily's lovely room!!

Our friend Evie was also there!

 Lily's room recently got a big girl update and her mom Cindy graciously asked me to help!

Happy Weekend

I do hope you all have a wonderful weekend. The weekend starts for me with a family birthday and goes on to include a parade and outdoor concert at the Pavillion with the Houston symphony while sitting on the lawn eating a picnic dinner. It's one of my favorite events of the year. Hope you will have a good one as well. What are you going to do?

My Mother's Birthday

My mother was born on Mother's day. This year is the first time since she died that Mother's Day was again on her birthday. She would have been 79. Sweet memories and bittersweet missing her.
