I have a sister in New York that loves black and white striped socks, t-shirts and turtlenecks.
So it made me think of her when I saw a parade of these birds out my farmhouse kitchen window this morning!
The bird is a "Killdeer". They like to walk and their call sounds like "kill deer"! I had never seen this bird before so I was shocked at their black and white striped turtlenecks!
Pretty cute!
