Lois Lenski

Tonight after an event, a woman came up to me and told me and told me my illustrations reminded her of the author and illustrator Lois Lenski. I am thinking that it is a huge compliment!!

This one would make a lovely toile fabric! I think it would make an adorable room!

Sometimes we all have to come to the realization that there are things in life that we are good at and then there are many things we are not good at. Then there is a whole other realm of things we admire but have no idea how they are done. This is my sentiment on Mary Moore's work. All I know is that I love it and hope you will as well.

Happy Weekend

I do hope you all have a wonderful weekend. The weekend starts for me with a family birthday and goes on to include a parade and outdoor concert at the Pavillion with the Houston symphony while sitting on the lawn eating a picnic dinner. It's one of my favorite events of the year. Hope you will have a good one as well. What are you going to do?
